Beaverton Winter Farmers Market
Tualatin Valley’s only winter market returns February 5th
During the summer months, farmers markets are a dime a dozen. In the winter, not so much – except for the treat of the Beaverton Winter Farmers Market.
The Winter Market is comprised of nursery growers, farmers and ranchers, both conventional and organic. Artisan food producers offer prepared products, ranging from fruit jams to farmstead cheeses, breads and pastries, pickles, pasta, chocolate and more.
This year will be the 11th year of the winter market, which grows as the weeks get closer to summer and more products become available. It will start with about 60 vendors and grow to 80 or more. The summer market expects 130 vendors.
Each winter, the market includes dozens of local businesses from bakeries and breweries to “Local Liquids,” featuring locally produced spirits, cider, wine and more.
The Winter Market runs Saturdays, February through April, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
