WASHINGTON COUNTY HOTEL PERFORMANCE: MAY 2023

Washington County’s hotel performance took a dip in May 2023, compared to the same month in 2022, according to STR, which provides market data on the hotel industry around the globe. Occupancy fell to 66.0%; however, it exceeded other Oregon counties in its competitive set. Although occupancy declined, the average daily rate grew to $131.07 (compared to $126.33 last year).

Calendar year 2023 still is performing well with an occupancy at 65.1% for the first five months of the year, keeping pace with the same time in 2022, which was a strong year. Average daily rates, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) continues to increase over last year.
