Hotel Performance for the Month of October Reaches or Exceeds 2019 Levels
Hotels in Washington County continue to climb to pre-pandemic levels. According to STR, which provides market data on the hotel industry around the globe. Washington County’s hotels continue to perform well in three key performance areas: Occupancy (OCC), Average Daily Room Rates (ADR) and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
For the month of October 2022, 72.4% of available hotels rooms were occupied–a 16% increase over the same period last year. In 2019, 72.9% of available hotel rooms were occupied during October. For the year-to-date numbers, as of October 31, 2022, occupancy topped 70.8%, a 16.6% increase over last year, and just 2.8% behind the same period in 2019.
