
Tualatin Valley’s Hotel Boom
New Hotels in Tualatin Valley
Since 2016, Washington County has experienced a hotel building boom, which is showing no signs of slowing. Last fiscal year, three new hotels opened in the city of Hillsboro, and McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest Grove added new rooms during its renovation, adding 405 hotel rooms (and 147,825 room nights) to Washington County’s hotel inventory.

While no hotels have opened during FY17-18, construction is well underway on a number of properties, which will bring a total of 649 additional rooms to Washington County and Tualatin Valley.
